Gloria Hairston, BS, MBA, joined the Winston-Salem Black Chamber of Commerce (WSBCC) in 2013 and serves as Program and Events Chair for the WSBCC. She recently became the Chamber’s Secretary. She was employed in corporate America as Clinical Studies Coordinator (9 years), and Quality and Compliance Coordinator for the Abdominal Organ Transplant Program (15 years), at Wake Forest Baptist Health, and an earlier 11-year tenure in Marketing at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. She is also a US Army Veteran, former EMT-D, Bail Bondswoman, and Advanced Pure Romance Consultant. In June, 2017, she was recipient of the Small Business Plan Contest with the City of Winston-Salem, and has launched her new business called, Be One To Succeed (BOTS) Staffing, LLC where “working isn’t just a job; it’s a way to succeed.” Through networking and collaborative opportunities with the WSBCC business owners and partners, Gloria invites you to share her desire to help reduce the disparity among minority unemployment rates in Winston-Salem, NC and the neighboring Triad.
