Greetings All,
I trust you and your loved ones had a joyful and safe 4th of July weekend. I am reaching out to you with some important updates. First, our next monthly meeting will be Tuesday 7/13/2021 at 6:00p. (it will be a Zoom meeting) I will be one of the presenters and will discuss (briefly) grants and business planning. These are two areas that our business Earnest Harvest LLC offers service in. As we (as a nation) move to the next phase of the COVID19 Pandemic, planning, funding and execution continue to be critical business areas that all of us need to keep on our radar.
Second, the WSBCC is planning on having our Annual Meeting in September. At that meeting, we will have elections for members of the Board. In you are interested in running, you have to be a member in good standing (currently paid membership) and a member at least 6 months. We are also looking to build some of our Standing Committees and encourage you to be more involved in our organization.
Third, as members you may not be aware of (or could have forgotten) what your benefits are in being a member in good standing of the WSBCC. I encourage you to visit our website at www.wsblackchamber.org. It outlines what you should expect and what you can take advantage of as a member to help your business be profitable and grow.
Finally, I am still in the process of contacting each of you individually to get your thoughts and suggestions on how we as an organization can more effectively meet your needs in being a profitable and successful business. Be on the look out for an email from me. I look forward to speaking with each of you.
