A Belated Happy New Year WSBCC Members !!!
I trust you and yours had a joyful and safe holiday season. I am touching bases to thank you again for being a part of the Winston Salem Black Chamber of Commerce.
2019 was an eventful and progressive year for us as an organization. We continued to partner with others in the community to
produce and facilitate meetings that offered training, networking opportunities, and information from public officials regarding resources available through the City and County.
I encourage you to go to our website www.wsbcc.org to review photos from some of the events in 2019. You will get a sample of how we are being proactive in building relationships that help our businesses survive and thrive in our communities.
If you have not paid your dues for 2020 please due so as soon as possible. Your investment helps make resources available to have the Shop Small Bus Tour that happens in November.
I have continuously asked for your feedback and participation regarding goals and objectives for your WSBCC. We are a non profit organization that has an all volunteer leadership team. We are continually looking for new members and Board members who understand, embrace and is willing to be a team player to achieve goals that are bigger than any one of us as individuals.
Our mission, vision and objectives reflect the ongoing need to have advocacy, training, and access to resources for our business to be successful in an ongoing basis.
I encourage you (again) to review our website, see what your benefits are, use your benefits, and figure out how you can be "part of the solution". Reach out to me directly with any questions or feedback. Our next Members meeting will be Tuesday 2/11/2020 from 6:30p-8:00p at the Enterprise Center in Winston Salem. I look forward to seeing you there !!!
All the best,
